The Recall: Textile, Footwear and Accessories Products-January 2024

In January 2024, there were total 43 recall cases of textile, footwear and accessories products from the US, Canadian, EU and Australian markets. 19 of them came from China.

17 physical recall cases from the EU market:

4 cases on health risks;

4 cases on strangulation or injuries;

6 cases on injure risks;

3 cases on choking risks.

13 chemical recall cases from the EU market:

11 cases are against the REACH regulation;

2 cases violates REACH and POPs.

4 physical recall cases from the US market

1 case injury hazard;

1 case suffocation hazard;

1 case crush hazard;

1 case fire hazard.

There is no chemical recall case from the US market.

9 physical recall cases from the Canadian market:

3 cases on strangulation hazard;

5 cases on choking & strangulation hazards;

1 case on choking & ingestion hazards.

There is no chemical recall case from the Canadian market.

There is no physical and chemical recall case from the Australian market.
